Performances

Every year, the Fine Arts Programs at Windermere perform at our Winter and Spring Concerts. These include daytime shows for feeder elementary schools and evening concerts. Families and friends can join us for a night of music, dance, and drama that our Fine Arts programs have been working hard to put together.


The band also participates in annual District Band Festivals along with other secondary schools. This a fabulous opportunity to perform for other schools, and listen to other band programs at high schools around the Lower Mainland. There are also adjudicators that help provide constructive feedback for students and teachers.

Near the end of the year, the band gets the opportunity to perform at the UBC Chan Centre for Windermere's graduation ceremony. The Chan Centre is a beautiful concert hall, and it is always a great honour to be able to play there to celebrate our graduates.

The Senior Band may also have the opportunity to travel outside Vancouver and go on Band Trips! We have been to Victoria to perform at the Festival of Bands for the past few years. We hope to continue with these trips and travel to more places.
